Postpartum Care.

Care as unique as you and your baby, adapted to your changing needs. Emotional and practical support, in the comfort of your own home, really can make all the difference to your postpartum experience and your overall health and mentality.

Some days you'll want support with the baby, so you can have some much needed rest, a shower or to attend appointments. Other days you may need someone to do groceries, prepare or cook meals and throw on some laundry. Most mothers just appreciate having someone to talk to and keep them company, reassuring them and acknowledging what they've been through. Having someone regularly check in on you can minimise feelings of overwhelm, loneliness and anxiousness. This connection can be pivotal at a time when you may feel isolated and unsure in this new, ever changing role.

Whether you’re in the depths of early motherhood or currently pregnant, its never to early or late to reach out.

Overnight Care and Sleep Support.

An incredible opportunity for you to be supported during the night. A chance to get necessary rest, as you recover from or adapt to, the physical and emotional requirements of pregnancy, birth and parenthood.

Sleep deprivation is often described as the hardest part of parenthood, especially in the beginning. Many Mums who've sort this support have described it as lifechanging, allowing them to feel more present and joyful during the day.

This care is adapted to you and your babies specific feeding and sleeping requirements.

Amazing for post labour, C-section recovery, when sleep deprivation catches up or if you're hoping to establish more of a sleep routine as your baby grows.

Having supported many families through various sleep transitions and struggles, I also offer advice and guidance on this, virtually or in person.

About.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have supported babies, mothers and families around the world for over 20 years.

Currently as a Postpartum Doula and as a former teacher, nursery room leader, International VIP maternity, night and travel nanny, I’ve held so many babies in my arms and heart! Each role has been beautifully unique and allowed for immense personal and professional growth. One of the most transformative aspects has been the connections and relationships I've developed with parents, particularly mothers. I acknowledge the raw, emotional and rewarding journey women are on when they become mothers.

I've assisted parents with multiples, premature babies and those requiring special medical care. I’ve cared for infants 24 hours, 6 days a week and guided parents through sleep and feeding transitions. I've supported many mothers during their postpartum, some recovering from surgery or medical treatments, others who have felt overwhelmed with post natal anxiety and depression. The magnitude of being asked to be present during this vulnerable time, has always humbled me.

With a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood I have an in depth knowledge and understanding of infant and children's development. My most recent studies and role as a Postpartum Doula has reminded me of the importance of empowering a mother to reconnect with her intuition, focusing on what her and her baby need most. It also highlighted the importance of community and continuity of care, something I strive to provide, with my village building offerings. Qualifications in Health and Nutrition, as well as Post natal yoga and Pilates, has built on my holistic approach to assisting mothers and their families. I recognize the need to acknowledge a variety of factors when offering support and am continuously building on my knowledge base in all areas of infant and child care, as well as women’s health and wellness.

I take immense pride and joy in providing you with nurturing support and encouragement, in a way that works for you. I strive to reassure you that you are seen and heard, as you find your way on your motherhood journey. I know that holding space and listening can make a deep and profound difference. My aim is simply for you to feel more confident and connected, to yourself, your baby and your community, during this huge and deeply personal chapter.

Many aspects of todays society do not support mothers during this momentous time and I want to change this; for you, your babies, families and communities.

You don’t have to do it all alone, you were never suppose to.
